How to Use Local Models for Transcription in the Application

Use Local models if target PC is without internet

If you prefer to prepare in advance, or use on computer without internet, you can manually download the models and skip the automatic download process.

By default, the application downloads the necessary transcription models from the internet the first time it is launched. This process can take some time, depending on the size of the models and your internet speed. Once downloaded, the models are cached for future use, so subsequent runs will be much faster.

Steps to Use Local Models:

Prepare the Models Folder:

If you want to use the application offline, you can download the required models manually from an our drive

Copy models:

Copy the entire folder containing the models into the root directory of the application.

Enable Local Models:

Open the application and navigate to the Settings menu.

Go to the Transcription tab.

Check the box labeled Use Local Models to enable offline transcription using the downloaded models.
